Founded by Belinda Ngugi—a Transformational Coach, Mentor and NLP Practitioner—Empower & Awaken brings over two decades of experience in Statutory Child & Family Social Work in the UK. Her work blends heart, wisdom, and evidence-based tools to support deep personal growth and life transformation. She is also currently training as an Addiction Counsellor, with a heartfelt mission to empower individuals whose lives have been impacted by alcohol, drugs, and other addictions. Belinda believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to awaken their authentic self and live in alignment with their divine purpose.

 

Belinda’s approach integrates a range of coaching techniques, including:

Alongside this, she combines Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Life Story work and a Trauma-Informed approach to help individuals challenge their own limiting beliefs, learn to regulate emotions, develop self-awareness and be empowered in new ways of thinking and living.

Expert social work support for the safety and well-being of Children and Families in the UK.

 

This includes, and not limited to, independent advice, Parenting Assessments (including Parent Assess) and local & international Kinship/ Special Guardianship Assessments, Section 7 or 37 reports, Fostering and Adoption Assessments.

Practice Education and Practice Moderation/ Challenge - SOCIAL WORK in the UK

 

This is a key area which entails mentoring and inducting Student Social Workers, ASYEs, Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSWs) or Overseas Social Workers looking to work in the UK.

 

We also attend Social Work student or Practice Challenge Panels as independent moderators/ reviewers.

 

Bespoke Sessions offered to Overseas Social Workers:

- In preparation whilst still in their countries,

- Once in the UK, in conjunction with their employer or independently

- As part of their CPD
